Event: Museum Nights Düsseldorf - A party among artworks

Experience the magic of Düsseldorf's Night of Museums, an enchanting cultural festival that illuminates the city's rich artistic heritage. On Saturday, April 26th, from 7 PM to 2 AM, over 50 artistic "locations" will open their doors, inviting you to explore the city's museums, galleries, and cultural exhibitions in a unique nighttime setting.

The event promises a diverse array of experiences, with special programs, performances, and installations designed to captivate and inspire. Highlights include the exhibition of "Superheroes" at the NRW-Forum, Jacques Tilly's three-dimensional caricatures for Düsseldorf's Rosenmontag parade, and Chagall at K20.

Art enthusiasts will delight in discovering art in unexpected places, such as a former swimming pool on Tersteegenstraße and the renovated toilet facility "Reinraum" on Aderstraße. The Clemens Sels Museum in Neuss presents "The Unboxing Experience" with guided tours and a cocktail bar, while the Media Design University invites visitors to video shows and music in the harbor.

Comedians will provide laughter in Rheinpark, Neuss, and a DJ will perform in the historic little castle of the district government on Cecilienallee. An art projection by Elena Panknin will illuminate the Rheinturm until the early morning hours, adding a touch of mystery and wonder to the night.

For those interested in Düsseldorf's history, the old studio of Günther Uecker can be visited at the Zero Foundation on Huettenstrasse, and papier-mâché figures can be found in the Wagenbauhalle of the Committee Düsseldorf Carnival (Merowingerstrasse).

Admission for the Night of Museums costs 17 euros, with children gaining free entry. Tickets can be purchased in advance for 17 euros (full price) or 12 euros (reduced).
