The much-anticipated Borussia Dortmund Charity Cup is returning to Dortmund, Germany, on August 1, 2025. This year's event will take place at the Signal Iduna Park stadium, promising an exciting mix of sports, entertainment, and charity.

The tournament, now in its annual edition, gathers professional players, celebrities, and amateur teams to support local and international charitable organizations. The event aims to promote social projects, youth development, and health-related causes, reinforcing community engagement and social responsibility.

Three teams will compete in this year's Charity Cup: Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga All-Stars, and Gastro-Kickers. The tournament will consist of two 25-minute matches between each team, with each match offering a varied supporting program, including a bouncy castle, drinks, and a high-quality tombola with main prizes worth around 15,000 euros.

On Friday, the event will kick off with the first match between Gastro Kickers and the BVB-Traditionsmannschaft at 5:30 PM. Following this, the second match will see FC St. Pauli Altliga Traditionsmannschaft take on Gastro Kickers at 6:30 PM. The evening will culminate with the third match between BVB-Traditionsmannschaft and FC St. Pauli Altliga Traditionsmannschaft at 7:30 PM.

In addition to the football matches, visitors can look forward to an after-show party with live music from RockDoggz from Hamburg and DJ, as well as performances by Marty Kessler, Marko Abend, and DJ Rüdi, immediately after the matches on the sports field in Grömitz.

The grand tombola benefiting Lübeck Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder e.V. will be available for purchase from 4 PM on Friday, with the shooting competition against BVB stars taking place on Saturday, August 10th, at 12 PM, 250 meters left of the Seebrücke.

Ulli Potofski will host the event and conduct interviews during the games. Notably, Louis Enke, captain of Gastro-Kickers, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 at the age of 21, will also be part of the team for the first time, alongside his son.

For those interested in participating in a more interactive way, a table football event, "Beat the Star," will take place on Saturday, July 29th, 200 meters behind Ahoi, on the left side of the Seebrücke. Here, guests can challenge BVB players and table football DM/WM champions.

The 10 euro starting fee for the shooting competition includes a free drink and a photo with a favourite player. Admission for the event opens on Friday, August 9th, at 4 PM, with the football school at Gildestraße sports field starting at 10:00 AM.
