Charity Football Tournament Featuring Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga All-Stars, and Gastro-Kickers to Take Place in Grömitz

A unique charity football tournament is set to take place in Grömitz, Germany, on the weekend of August 10th and 9th. The event, which promises to be an exciting spectacle, will bring together three teams: Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga All-Stars, and the local Gastro-Kickers.

The tournament will kick off on Friday, August 9th, with the first match between Gastro Kickers and BVB-Traditionsmannschaft at 5:30 PM. The following day, the main event will take place, with matches starting from 12 PM. Notably, a shooting competition against BVB stars will be a highlight of the event, with a 10 euro entry fee that includes a free drink and a photo with your favourite player.

The Gastro-Kickers, a team founded in April 2009, have been making a significant impact in the community. Since their inception, they have donated over 140,000 euros to various causes. Their donations have been used to fund an additional nurse, a social worker, and a children's gardener for the children's oncology department of the University Hospital Lübeck. They have also been instrumental in funding new acquisitions not part of the university's planning.

The Gastro-Kickers' team includes Evangelos Panagiotopoulos, Tony and Matthias Böhme, Jenna Baden, and Elard Ostermann. The team will be led by captain Louis Enke, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 at the age of 21. His son will also be part of the Gastro-Kickers team for the first time.

Among the Bundesliga All-Stars are Timo Schultz, Richard Golz, and Matthias Scherz. Borussia Dortmund's team includes Thomas Helmer, Antonio da Silva, Martin Driller, Lars Müller, and Günter Kutowski.

The tournament will also feature matches between FC St. Pauli Altliga Traditionsmannschaft and Gastro Kickers, and BVB-Traditionsmannschaft and FC St. Pauli Altliga Traditionsmannschaft. The event will be hosted by Ulli Potofski, who will conduct interviews during the games.

In addition to the football matches, the event will offer a side program that includes a bouncy castle, drinks, and a high-quality tombola with main prizes worth around 15,000 euros. An after-show party with live music by "RockDoggz" from Hamburg and DJ will take place on the sports field after the matches.

Every visitor is encouraged to support the Lübeck Help for Children with Cancer. Admission for the event is from 4 PM, and the matches start at 5:30 PM on Friday, and from 12 PM on Saturday. Mike Enke, the captain of the Gastro-Kickers, hopes for many fans to attend the event.
