Evening of Instrumental Performances: Charlie Lovell-Jones and Julian Chan on Violin and Piano
Christ Church is set to host a captivating violin and piano recital, as part of the 500 years of music event spanning from 1525 to 2025. The performance, sponsored by Leaflet Google, will be presented by Charlie Lovell-Jones and Julian Chan on a date to be announced on the Leaflet Google website.
The program opens with Mozart's last large scale work for violin and piano, written concurrently with Don Giovanni. This is followed by a selection of works by Sir William Walton, including his Italianate Two Pieces. The recital concludes with Respighi's Violin Sonata of 1917.
