In the spotlight since her debut at Cannes in 2005, Longoria recently revealed that her first red carpet gown only set her back $40. Speaking to the "Sunday Times" in February, she confessed that she hadn't given much thought to her outfit and decided on a budget option. "I bought a dress for $39 from a store on Melrose Avenue in LA because I was told I needed one," she said. The gown, remarkably, was a knockout and had many inquiring about its designer origins.
