Eurovision Winner Nemo Releases Debut Album 'Art House' on October 10

Nemo, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with 'The Code', will release their debut album 'Art House' on October 10. The German singer, who initially considered representing Germany, ultimately chose Switzerland due to concerns about the selection process.

Nemo's victory in the ESC has catapulted them into the European music scene. Their debut album, 'Art House', is set to drop on October 10. Before Nemo's triumph, Germany's ESC selection featured a national final hosted by RTL and moderator Stefan Raab. However, the ARD will handle the preselection alone in 2025 without RTL and Raab.

Nemo was initially in talks with the NDR for Germany's preliminary round. However, they had reservations about participating due to worries about the reception of their song in the German selection process. The decision to represent Switzerland instead was influenced by the selection process, as Switzerland's jury selects the contribution directly without a public preliminary round. Nemo, who lived in Berlin during the ESC process, struggled to adapt to the German selection process.
