ESC Legend Opens Restaurant in Spain - Eurovision Legend Ralph Siegel Opens Music-Themed Restaurant in Spain

Ralph Siegel, the composer behind Germany's 1982 Eurovision-winning song Ein bißchen Frieden, is now stepping into the restaurant business. Together with his wife Laura, he will open a music-themed eatery in Spain by the end of March. The venue promises entertainment alongside dining, with a focus on major events like the World Cup and Eurovision.

The new establishment, Meson Bahía Restaurant Musical by Mister Eurovision Ralph Siegel, will feature a TV and stage for live broadcasts. Guests can watch FIFA World Cup matches and the Eurovision Song Contest while dining. Siegel, who has composed or produced at least eight entries for Germany's Eurovision pre-selection—including Theater, Lass die Sonne in dein Herz, and Für alle—wants the space to blend music and food.

A grand opening is scheduled for March 28, with a performance by the legendary group Dschinghis Khan. The restaurant's concept reflects Siegel's long-standing connection to Eurovision, spanning hits from the 1980s to the late 1990s. His work includes songs like *Telefon* and *Einer für alle*, as well as producing the 1997 act Retorten-Girl-Gruppe.

The restaurant will welcome visitors from late March, offering a mix of live music and sports screenings. Siegel's involvement ensures a strong Eurovision theme, tying his musical legacy to the dining experience. The opening party with Dschinghis Khan marks the start of what promises to be a unique venue.
