Saarbrücken Awards a Platform for Dialogue on Integration

Saarbrücken, Germany - The Konrad Adenauer Foundation, in alliance with the Union Foundation, hosted a noteworthy discussion on integration in Germany at the Bel Étage on September 1st. Dr. Ahmad Mansour, a globally recognized psychologist and author in the media sphere, participated in the event, shedding light on countering extremism and fostering integration.

Dr. Karsten Dümmel, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation's representative for the Saarland, set the stage for the discourse, emphasizing the theme "Integration in Germany: Opportunities, Challenges, and Perspectives." Michael Scholl, CEO of the Union Foundation, opened the event to numerous attendees, promising an insightful exchange.

Moderator Michael Schley introduced Dr. Mansour, a German-Israeli psychologist of Arab-Palestinian origin with degrees from Tel Aviv and Berlin. Mansour, who was born in Israel in 1976 and moved to Germany in 2004, is a recognized expert in countering extremism, promoting integration, and combating issues such as radicalization, honor killings, and antisemitism.
