Hey there! Let's dive into an epic tale of daring, defiance, and a hefty dose of legal wrangling. You won't believe what happened when a gutsy young bloke from Osnabrück decided to scale the roof of Dortmund's football stadium during the Euro 2020 quarter-finals!

So, this fellow made it to the top, and the cops didn't appreciate his sky-high escapade, to say the least. That's why they slapped him with a hefty bill of around €12,000, covering the deployment costs of 108 police officers, including a special ops unit (SEK), and additional expenses like examination, seizure, and helicopter deployment.

The brave climber, who's now 23, had only paid a minor trespassing fine before, but this new bill seemed like a bridge too far. So, he took it upon himself to file a lawsuit with the administrative court in Gelsenkirchen. His lawsuit, under file number 17 K 3525/25, has already caught the court's attention, as reported by the German Press Agency.

Boosting his spirits, the climber's lawyer announced before the fee bill that he'd have a hard time accepting it. He believes the cops were on site anyway, so the bill doesn't make much sense to them.

But just remember, our fearless acrobat is no novice in the world of stunts. He was previously discovered under the stadium roof during the match between Germany and Denmark, and was even caught again in October, scaling the Ulm Münster. Seems like he's got quite the climbing tour going!

So, stayed tuned! We'll keep you posted on how this legal battle unfolds!
