Celebrating 50 Years: The Bleichrasenverein Huempfershausen's Anniversary Festival
The small German village of Huempfershausen is gearing up for a grand celebration as the Bleichrasenverein Huempfershausen prepares to mark its 50th anniversary on August 15th and 16th, 2025. The festivities will take place on the Bleichrasen in the Hoermbach, promising a lively and varied program for all ages.
The celebration kicks off on Friday, August 15th, with an enchanting Sommerkino (summer cinema) event under the open sky at dusk. A movie suitable for all ages will be screened, and popcorn, hotdogs, and Bockwurst will be served to guests.
On Saturday, August 16th, the fun continues. Around noon, delicious onion cake (Zwiebelkuchen) baked in the traditional backhaus will be available, prepared with support from the Huempfershausen Fire Brigade members. At around 3 PM, coffee and cream cake (Rahmkuchen), also from the backhaus, will be served.
The afternoon program includes activities for all ages such as a bouncy castle, a children's flea market, and a fun obstacle course (Spaßparcours). The highlight of the day is a party with the band "Die Wassermanns Kütz" from 7 PM, inviting guests to dance and celebrate deep into the night.
This 50th anniversary event warmly welcomes everyone to enjoy a lively and varied program in the village atmosphere. The festival is an open invitation for community members and visitors to relax, have fun, and commemorate this milestone together.
