"Time for Us to Talk, Not Europe" - Trump on Iran Conflict

Europe lacks ability to contribute significantly in the Iran conflict, according to Trump's assessment.

Take a seat, tim! The ol' man ain't got no use for the Europeans meddling in the Iran-Israel beef, he yelled. Trump thinks the old continent's diplomatic efforts to ease the nuclear program standoff with Iran are a waste of time. He might just pull the trigger on a military tussle sooner than two weeks.

America's Commander-in-Chief ain't no fan of the Euros trying to play peacemaker. "Iran ain't hankerin' for Europe. They want us," Trump said when asked if talks between the Old continent and Iran were helpful. He's tight-lipped about the talks, but hinted there's been some hush-hush dealings between the US and Tehran. US press whispers that Trump's special emissary, Steve Witkoff, has been in touch with the Iranians.

German foreign minister Johann Wadephul, his pals from France and the UK, and the EU foreign policy chief had a sit-down with Iranian chief diplomat Abbas Araghtschi in Geneva. Their goal? Resuming negotiations about Iran's nuclear program, a week after the fireworks burst between Iran and Israel. Wadephul said they left with the impression that the Iranians are willing to carry on yappin' about all vital matters.

Araghtschi is less keen on the US, suspecting the two-week deadline for negotiations might be a cover-up for something more sinister. "They gotta show they're determined to find a solution, otherwise they're fibbin' and wanna whoop us anyways," he spilled to US broadcaster NBC News. Araghtschi thinks they can no longer trust the US after their talks with the Europeans.

Trump was probed about the assessment of US intel agencies that Iran ain't currently building a nuke bomb. "Well then my intel heads are loose," he scoffed. If Tulsi Gabbard, a Congresswoman, said that, then she's wrong, Trump barked. Gabbard dropped that bomb back in March. Iran claims their nuclear program is purely for peaceful purposes.
