Eschenbach Approves 55,799 Franc Budget for Zilwaldstrasse Renovation

The Eschenbach town council has approved a budget of 55,799 Swiss francs for the renovation of the Zilwaldstrasse. The project aims to repair damage caused by heavy truck traffic during construction work for the Hinterbergen reservoir and pipeline. Oberholzer Bauleistungen AG has submitted a supplementary offer of 55,799.60 Swiss francs for the repairs. The construction company responsible for the renovation has not been publicly disclosed. Six measures have been defined to address the damage on the Zilwaldstrasse. The renovation costs will be split equally between the water supply and the town. The repairs are scheduled to begin as soon as possible in October 2025 to prevent further damage. The Zilwaldstrasse renovation project is set to commence in October 2025, with costs shared equally between the water supply and the town.
