In the latest episode of the popular German TV series 'In aller Freundschaft,' viewers were left scratching their heads over a continuity error involving Dr. Roland Heilmann's glasses. The production team has since acknowledged the mistake and apologised for the oversight.

The error, which occurred in episode 1106 titled 'Von Igeln und Mäusen,' aired in 2025, saw Dr. Heilmann suddenly appearing without his signature spectacles. Many fans of the series noticed this inconsistency from the beginning of the episode, expressing their confusion on social media.

In a statement, the production company admitted, 'Unfortunately, the devil made a mistake.' The production team further clarified that the mistake was not the fault of any one person, but rather a collective oversight.

The absence of Dr. Heilmann's glasses sparked a wave of sarcastic comments from viewers, who joked about his miraculous recovery of his vision. Some even speculated about the possibility of a secret superhero alter ego for the character.
