Train traffic on Erixx lines only resuming on Sunday - Erixx halts all regional rail services as winter storm paralyzes routes
Severe winter weather has forced Erixx to suspend all regional rail services indefinitely. The suspension affects multiple routes, leaving passengers with no train or replacement bus options for the time being.
The operator confirmed that no trains will run for the rest of the day. Heavy snow and ice have made track inspections impossible, keeping lines closed. The affected routes include RB47, RB42/RB43, RE10, and RB32.
No replacement buses have been arranged so far. Passengers have been urged to delay travel plans where possible. Services are not expected to restart before Sunday at the earliest.
Travellers relying on Erixx services must now seek alternative transport or postpone journeys. The company has not yet provided a timeline for when inspections or replacements might begin.
