Eric Nam Joins 'Loser' Cast: Time Travel Drama Explores Trauma and Healing
Eric Nam, renowned for his K-pop albums like 'Before We Begin' and 'House on a Hill', is in talks to join the cast of 'Loser', a feature adaptation of Colleen Hoover's award-winning short. Angourie Rice is tipped to play the lead, Alice, a troubled physicist using time travel to heal her trauma.
Nam is set to play Sam in the film, produced by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence, along with Dan Lawler and Michael Sherman of Bow and Arrow Entertainment. The cast also includes Finn Bennett and Lukas Gage, with Jordan Ladd, Erika Henningsen, Kathleen McNenny, Ana Y. Puig, Eric Cheung, Jerrod Haynes, Hanna Hall, and Vera Briseño expected to feature.
Nam's recent credits include the 2024 indie thriller 'Transplant' and voicing the title role in 'The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender'. He is currently in production on Paramount's Untitled K-pop Project and will appear in the upcoming season of Peacock's 'The Traitors'.
