Eric Dane Urges ACT for ALS Renewal, Launches $1B Campaign
Actor Eric Dane, diagnosed with ALS, traveled to Washington, D.C. on September 29 to advocate for the renewal of the Accelerating Access to Critical Therapies for ALS (ACT for ALS) Act. Signed in 2021, this act supports research and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases like ALS and expires in 2026.
During his visit, Dane met with U.S. Representative Frank Pallone. He highlighted the importance of ACT for ALS and sought its renewal. Dane, who wants to see his daughters reach key life milestones, is determined to bring hope to those affected by ALS.
