Epstein files expose Beatrice, Eugenie and Prince Andrew's deepening royal scandal

Fresh revelations from the Epstein files have once again drawn attention to the British royal family. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are named in newly released documents, with details emerging about their mother's ties to Jeffrey Epstein. The scandal has also led to King Charles taking action against their uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The latest disclosures show the extent of Epstein's relationship with Sarah Ferguson, the princesses' mother. Emails reveal she discussed Eugenie's private life with him, even after his 2008 conviction. In 2009, Ferguson took her daughters—then aged 20 and 19—to meet Epstein in Miami just days after his prison release. Epstein also paid $14,080.10 for their flights to the US.

Both Beatrice and Eugenie have maintained a low profile since the documents surfaced. Beatrice, who runs Afiniti and recently launched Purpose Economy Intelligence Ltd, has avoided public comment. Eugenie, a director at Hauser & Wirth gallery, has not posted on social media since November 2025 and rarely appears in public.

Meanwhile, their uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has relocated to Norfolk, staying temporarily at King Charles' Sandringham estate. King Charles has stripped him of his titles and honours, though this has done little to ease the scandal's impact. Buckingham Palace confirmed the monarch's readiness to assist British police in investigating Andrew's alleged sharing of sensitive material during his 2010 role as UK trade envoy.

The Epstein files continue to cast a shadow over the royal family. Beatrice and Eugenie, though not working royals, remain linked to the controversy through their mother's past actions. With Andrew now sidelined and Ferguson's communications under scrutiny, the fallout from these revelations is likely to persist.
