Rebecca, Tommy's wife, recounts the unsolved murder of Susie Bissett in Coldwater, adding another layer of mystery to the series. It is unclear if the other jewelry belongs to Susie, who was murdered years ago.
As the story unfolds, John's guilt over the incident in the playground and abandoning his daughter to Tommy weigh heavily on him. He confesses his guilt to Tommy, who reassures him that he's a "good man" and urges him to pray with him.
