Enzi chairs glow in new colors for MuseumsQuartier Vienna's 25th anniversary
A bright new edition of the iconic Enzi chairs has been unveiled to mark the 25th anniversary of MuseumsQuartier Vienna. The limited-run furniture sports two eye-catching colours, chosen by public vote. Visitors are now invited to celebrate with a special photo challenge on April 16. The Enzi chairs first appeared in 2003 as part of Winter at the MQ, designed as igloo-style seating for cold-weather lounging. By the next summer, they had transformed into versatile lounge and reclining furniture. Over time, these chairs became a permanent fixture, shaping the cultural and social life of the site.
The anniversary edition was revealed on Tuesday in two vibrant shades: punch-strudel pink and soda-lemon yellow. The colours were selected through an online poll, giving the public a direct say in the design. To mark the occasion, the MQ is hosting the *What's Your Taste? Enzi Photochallenge* on April 16 from 5 to 6 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dress in pink or yellow to match the chairs. A 360-degree glam cam will also be on hand, letting visitors pose and share clips across social media. The event highlights how the Enzi chairs have grown from seasonal seating into a year-round symbol of the MQ's creative spirit.
