Entrepreneurs Invited to Join Cuneo Volley's Superleague Project
Stepping into the SuperLega Spotlight: Cuneo Volley's 2025/2026 Journey
Slovenian-Serbian powerhouse Aleksandar Stefanovic kicks off Cuneo Volley's promising 2025/2026 SuperLega season. Born in 1998 and towering at 2 meters, Stefanovic honed his skills in his hometown club, Ribnica Kraljevo, until 2023. Last summer, he moved to Belgrade, proudly representing Crvena Zvezda, the club that clinched the national title the previous year. Stefanovic is set to spend the coming summer with the Serbian national team under the guidance of coach Gheorghe Cretu, preparing for the Volleyball Nations League, followed by his first international experience at Cuneo.
"I decided to join Cuneo because I was convinced by the team's vision, and from our initial chats, I knew this was a place that would help me grow not only as a player but also as a person," Stefanovic declared in his debut as a Cuneo Volley player. "The club's ambition and the passion of everyone involved made the decision a no-brainer." Trust, discipline, and the drive for competition are the cornerstones of a season aimed at securing safety in the SuperLega as soon as possible.
Stefanovic joins Croatian spiker Marko Sedlacek, who has considerable SuperLega experience, alongside veterans Ivan Zaytsev and Michele Baranowicz. The team, led by coach Matteo Battocchio for the third consecutive year, expects the staunch support of an enthusiastic fan base, as evidenced by the impressive sale of over 1,000 season tickets within the first fortnight of the "A riveder le stelle" (To See the Stars Again) campaign.

The subscription campaign continues online on liveticket.it and at Energia Pulita in corso Nizza 29 in Cuneo. Besides this match, the club is aiming for a capital increase announced last Tuesday, with the goal of expanding its fan base. "We're eager to attract new entrepreneurial energies who share our values in sports and the potential benefits this journey offers in terms of connections and exposure," President Gabriele Costamagna states. He is set to meet potential investors interested in "joining the team" at his new locale "Da Costa" until July 15. "It's not just about supporting a team, but being part of a movement that revolves around people, ideas, and projects."
The capital increase, combined with the addition of ten to fifteen new stakeholders, will boost the club's power in negotiations with banks and institutions. In brief, Cuneo Volley's 2025/2026 season is shaping up to be a season of growth, a grand return to the SuperLega, and a strong focus on community engagement and support.
