Enthusiasts of horror genres eagerly anticipate the upcoming movie "Frankenstein," as the trailer promises an intense cinematic experience - "Enthusiasts Rave Over Stunning New Trailer for "Frankenstein" Movie"

The international trailer for Guillermo del Toro's Netflix adaptation of Mary Shelley's timeless novel "Frankenstein" sent shockwaves through the cinematic world on its debut. With Netflix as a co-producer, the renowned Mexican director Guillermo del Toro (60), renowned for Oscar-winning masterpieces like "Pan's Labyrinth", "The Shape of Water", and "Nightmare Alley", dives headfirst into his passion project, reimagining Shelley's chilling narrative.

Netflix introduces the trailer, highlighting the story of Victor Frankenstein, a gifted but arrogant scientist who conjures a monster through a grotesque experiment, triggering the downfall of both the inventor and his unfortunate creation.

Del Toro's fascination with "Frankenstein" might have been brewing for years before finally coming to fruition.

The Tudum 2025 event in Los Angeles saw the initial unveiling of the trailer, giving a sneak peek at del Toro's ambition for visually stunning filmmaking, while also attempting to create an emotionally poignant story.

The ensemble cast is a combination of fresh faces and favorite actors. Mia Goth (31), Christoph Waltz (68), and Felix Kammerer (29) from the German-speaking world join forces with Oscar Isaac (46) as Dr. Frankenstein and "Saltburn" breakout star Jacob Elordi (27) as the monstrous creation stitched together from the dead.

Although no official announcement has been made, fans on YouTube clamor for a theatrical release, believing the spectacle and suspense evoked in the trailer warrant a big-screen debut.

Note: As of our current data, there is no mention of a theatrical release prior to the Netflix premiere for this movie in November 2025. The teaser trailer was first exhibited during Netflix's Tudum 2025 event, implying a primary focus on streaming for its release.[1][2][4]
