Entertainment extravaganza featuring "Salut Salon" at the "Rotary Summertime Benefit Festival" in the beloved ancora Marina, guaranteed to ignite the nights with a symphony of music!
In the picturesque town of Neustadt, an unforgettable evening unfolded as the sold-out exhibition hall of the Ancora Marina played host to the Salut Salon benefit concert. The event, organised through the cooperation of the Rotary Club Neustadt-Ostsee, the team of the Ancora Marina, and numerous voluntary helpers, aimed to support the Children's Protection Association Ostholstein and the Verein Kinder auf Schmetterlingsflügeln.
The concert, aptly named "Heimat", was a captivating blend of virtuosity, humour, and depth. Oliver Seiter, the managing director of the Ancora Marina, warmly welcomed the audience and expressed gratitude to those who made the concert possible. The program, which included works by Vivaldi, Piazzolla, Mozart, and traditional songs from various parts of the world, set the stage for an emotional experience.
Joke Flecijn, a renowned performer, delivered an impressive and entertaining performance that left the audience in awe. Her dance-like bow seemed to pirouette in the air, and her intense playing even managed to ignite a fireball. Mariya Filippova, a performer from Ukraine, presented a touching performance that highlighted uncertainty, tensions, and conflicts in some regions of the world.
Rotary President Thorsten Schmidt expressed his delight at the great response and successful cooperation. He and Oliver Seiter presented bouquets of flowers to the musicians as a token of appreciation, reminding them of the good cause they were supporting.
