In the upcoming family-friendly film "Grow," audiences will follow the extraordinary journey of a little girl named Charlie, played by Priya Rose-Brookwell, who possesses an extraordinary knack for growing giant pumpkins. Directed by John McPhail, best known for "Anna and the Apocalypse," the film is a pure, joyous comedy with a little bit of spice.

Fathom Entertainment, in collaboration with various partners, is working tirelessly to bring "Grow" to the big screen this October. The film is scheduled to premiere nationwide on Oct. 3. Ray Nutt, CEO of Fathom Entertainment, considers "Grow" an uplifting and heartwarming film for all ages.

The town's annual pumpkin-growing contest plays a significant role in the film. Dinah Little, portrayed by Golda Rosheuvel, is a no-nonsense farmer who finds herself in the midst of Charlie's extraordinary pumpkin-growing abilities.

Jenette Kahn and Adam Richman, partners of Double Nickel Entertainment, are particularly excited about the comic, warmhearted perennial nature of "Grow" as a Halloween alternative. Double Nickel Entertainment, known for productions such as "Gran Torino" and "The Burial," will be partnering with Fathom Entertainment for the U.S. theatrical release of "Grow."

The film's cast includes Nick Frost, Dominic McLaughlin, Alan Carr, Joe Wilkinson, Kathryn Drysdale, Fisayo Akinade, and Sharon Rooney. Charlie's special ability to connect with plants reflects her own longing to feel seen and loved, adding a touching layer to the film's comedic elements.

For those eager to get a glimpse of "Grow," the trailer is now available to watch. The film will also be distributed in the U.K. and Ireland by Sky Cinema. With its heartwarming story and talented cast, "Grow" promises to be a delightful addition to this year's family film lineup.
