Landshut, Germany - The city of Landshut is gearing up for an exciting Art Weekend, starting this Friday and running through Sunday. The program was presented on Thursday by the organizers, Deputy Mayor Jutta Widmann, VIP guides, and Michael Bragulla, the city's marketing director.
The Art Weekend promises a diverse range of exhibitions, with artists such as Gabriele Hofmann (ArtNight Kids - Universe, online from Berlin), Szabina Klenik (ArtNight Beats in Frankfurt), Judith Barczi (Paint Your Partner in Dresden), and John Petschinger (exhibiting in Salzburg, though not explicitly listed as an Art Night participant) set to showcase their work.
The Art Night events will commence on Friday, with the exhibitions extending beyond the usual 6 PM closing time. On Saturday and Sunday, the exhibition houses will open for free admission from 2 to 6 PM, with over 14 galleries, museums, and exhibition spaces participating.
In addition to the art exhibitions, over 30 stores will be open for Late Night Shopping, simultaneously with the exhibition events. The Art Night on Friday will continue into the late hours, though specific timings have not been announced.
