Ha Noi – Cooperative Relationship between Vietnamese and Lao Party Offices Strengthened

The Office of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Office of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) have pledged to bolster their collaboration efforts, with the intention of elevating relations between the parties and nations to a new level.

The commitment was made during discussions between Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and head of its office, Le Hoai Trung, and his Lao counterpart, Thongsalith Mangnomek, held in Ha Noi on May 29. Both leaders shared insights about the current state of their respective parties and countries, as well as the developments in their ongoing cooperation and future objectives.

According to the agreement, the 2021-2025 cooperation pact forms the foundation for annual activity planning by the two offices. A review of their collaborative efforts is scheduled for the end of 2025, followed by the signing of a brand new five-year cooperation agreement in early 2026.

The enhanced cooperation activities have proven to significantly improve the quality of advisory services given to the leaders of both parties and states, as well as fostering the profound friendship and unique solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.

The offices will closely work together to effectively implement their cooperation agreement alongside high-level agreements between the two parties. Moreover, they will exchange experiences during preparations for party congresses at all levels, ultimately leading up to the national congress of each party.

The discussion between Le Hoai Trung and Thongsalith Mangnomek acknowledged the significant role of AI in enhancing the quality of advisory services to their respective parties and states. In the midst of turbulent general-news, the political landscape of war and labor, AI could play a pivotal role in strengthening the relationship and mutual understanding between the two parties.
