Nittenau Greens Advance Agenda for 2015

The Nittenau Greens have embarked on a new year with renewed vigour, focusing on key areas that aim to enhance the safety, attractiveness, and social well-being of the community.

In the realm of environmental safety, the Greens are working diligently to improve flood protection measures. Their plans include the creation of retention areas to mitigate potential flood risks, while ensuring that these measures do not detract from the city's appeal to both citizens and tourists.

Social support for youth is another priority for the Greens. They are pushing for the appointment of a full-time youth social worker to assist young people in the community, thereby strengthening social services aimed at youth.

Political coordination between local and city government levels is also a focus, with the Greens ensuring that the priorities and initiatives developed at the local branch level are aligned and integrated with the broader themes and policies pursued by the city council.

Jannik Horsted, a member of the Greens' faction, presented the financial side of the local branch, which has been certified by auditors Franz Stadler and Franz Weber as being properly managed.

The Greens have been active in various local initiatives, such as participating in the vacation program and commemorating the Polish forced laborer Zygmunt Marzec in November. They have also submitted a number of motions to the city council, including processing Nittenau's Nazi history, modifying attendance fee modalities, creating disabled parking spaces, joining the local alliance for families, and working on the ISEK project.

The Greens' local branch can be reached via WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Pinterest, Mail, and Print. Twitter, however, is not listed as a contact option.

As the outgoing year was marked by elections and various local meetings, the Greens are looking forward to accompanying flood protection measures in 2015. They recently held their annual meeting at the Jakob inn, where discussions about the election campaign and other local matters were held.

This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the local branches in Nittenau and Bruck, an occasion that the Greens are likely to celebrate in due course.

The Nittenau Greens are also keen on advancing the field of environmental-science, aiming to foster a greener and more sustainable city. In the realm of general-news, they have submitted motions to the city council on processing Nittenau's Nazi history and working on the ISEK project.
