Who's Performing? 🎶
Ralf Dee—Hailing from Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm, this solo artist has been making waves since 2009 with his unique fusion of acoustic folk, bluesy rock, and sometimes synthetic sounds, all delivered in German. Don't miss his live performance using a loop station and electric guitar. 🎸⚡️
Dreikäsehoch—Three phenomenal young poetry slammers from Bavaria, Yannik Ambrusits, Rahel Behnisch, and Julius Althoetmar, are joining forces for the first time! Their electric performances have earned them numerous solo wins and accolades. Get ready to be captivated by their powerful words and performances. 🎣🔥
As the founders of Ingolstadt's first and only literature stage, Better than TV, Pascal Simon, Jens Rohrer, Dominik Neumayr, and Daniela Plössner, have brought some of the biggest names in Bavaria's literary scene under one roof. 📚💬
In July 2018, the trio started this literary movement because—well, let's face it—there wasn't one in town! 🌟
Over the years, Amanda Gorman can't make it, but we've been fortunate to host esteemed writers such as Eva Karl Faltermeier, Martin Frank, Franziska Wanninger, Steffen Kopetzky, and many more extraordinary talents. 💫✨
Whether you're into poetry slams, cabaret performances, or even a little magic, Better than TV has become a staple of Ingolstadt's vibrant cultural scene.
A few obstacles along the way, like the Covid-19 pandemic, closing our home for renovations (the KAP94), and re-locating temporarily to the "Neue Welt" and the Studio am Stadttheater Ingolstadt—but we're back and better than ever! 💪🌟
