The much-anticipated Gobbis Energy Factory is set to open on August 10th at Taunus Wunderland, adding a thrilling new experience to the popular leisure park. This interactive indoor labyrinth is part of the new attraction "Energieklunker & Koboldplunder – Das Labyrinth," which recently debuted in July 2025.

Visitors to the Gobbis Energy Factory will be transported into the enchanting world of the Gobbis, a fictional race of creatures, as they navigate through the labyrinth. The adventure is filled with various tasks and puzzles to solve, with the goal of discovering so-called "energy bling" hidden within.

What sets the Gobbis Energy Factory apart is its immersive storytelling and interactive elements. The ride, powered by a glowing crystal, promises an adrenaline rush with its diameter of 15 meters and 14 rounds per minute. The integrated direction change adds an extra layer of excitement, making it not for the faint-hearted.

The Gobbis Energy Factory is suitable for children aged 4 and above, with a minimum height of 1 meter, when accompanied by an adult. Children aged 8 and above, with a height of 1.30 meters, can ride alone. Up to 60 people can ride the Gobbis Energy Factory at once, making it an exciting family attraction.

Taunus Wunderland, in collaboration with SBF Visa Group, has developed this unique indoor ride. The park, which includes the mystical world of Arya's Dragon Gorge, is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 until September 8th. Online-purchased tickets are cheaper than at the day box office, offering a cost-effective way to enjoy the attractions.

Arya's Dragon Gorge features a village called Baumbergen, guarded by the dragon Regulus. The area also houses Gobbis' Good Dumpling Stube, offering food options for visitors. Additionally, water games provided by Baumbert serve as refreshing attractions in the warm summer months.

The Gobbi Express train, another attraction in Arya's Dragon Gorge, is not explicitly mentioned to have a specific diameter, rounds per minute, integrated direction changes, suitability for children, or seating capacity. However, it is operated by the Gobbis, adding to the magical atmosphere of the park.

With the opening of the Gobbis Energy Factory, Taunus Wunderland continues to provide a diverse range of family-friendly attractions, combining entertainment with cognitive challenges in an indoor setting, making it an appealing destination regardless of the weather.
