In the early hours of August 14, drone attacks targeted residential buildings and infrastructure in the Rostov region and Stavropol Krai, resulting in damage, evacuations, and hospitalizations.

The latest information indicates that 15 multi-story buildings and one private home in Rostov-on-Don were damaged, with 212 residents evacuated and 13 hospitalized, including two in serious condition. The Rostov region's Acting Governor, Yuri Slyusar, stated that the Millerovsky district was targeted during the night raid.

Several attacks also caused damage to railway infrastructure in Novocherkassk, leading to delays in passenger trains. In Stavropol Krai, drone threats prompted alerts, and windows were broken in residential complexes and social institutions. Repair efforts are underway after door-to-door damage assessments.

Russian air defense forces have been active in intercepting and destroying these drones. On-duty air defense systems shot down 25 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles between 23:50 and 03:40 on August 11-12, with 22 over the Rostov region and 3 over Stavropol Krai.

In Stavropol, windows were shattered in a social facility and a residential complex in the northwestern part of the city. Several cars were also damaged due to the drone attack. The Mayor of Stavropol, Ivan Ulyanchenko, reported damage from the attack.

To document all damage and prepare for repairs, the mayor of the Industrial district has ordered a house-to-house inspection. The managing company has been contacted to assist in the inspection of houses. The scope of work for the repairs in the Industrial district will be determined after the house-to-house inspection is complete.

Preliminary data suggests no casualties in the Rostov region, but no information about casualties was provided for Stavropol. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported these incidents.

These developments reflect ongoing intense drone activity with active defense responses and emergency measures to manage damage and civilian safety in southern Russia’s Rostov and Stavropol regions. Repairs in the Industrial district are expected to begin today after the house-to-house inspection is complete.
