Among the new additions are Hayley Atwell, best known for her roles in "Agent Carter" and "Howards End", who will play Helen Gordon, the ex-wife of Rupert Campbell-Black and mother of his two children, Marcus and Tabitha. Rupert Everett, a renowned actor with a career spanning over four decades, will bring his expertise to the role of Malise Gordon. Everett's impressive resume includes roles in films such as "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "An Ideal Husband".

Joining Atwell and Everett are Maxim Ays, Holly Cattle, Oliver Dench, Amanda Lawrence, Bobby Lockwood, Eliot Salt, and Jonny Weldon. These talented actors will add fresh energy to the ensemble, deepening the storylines and bringing new dynamics to the second season.

The returning cast includes Alex Hassell as Rupert Campbell-Black, David Tennant as Lord Tony Baddingham, Aidan Turner as Declan O’Hara, Nafessa Williams as Cameron Cook, Bella Maclean as Taggie O’Hara, Katherine Parkinson as Lizzie Vereker, Danny Dyer as Freddie Jones, Victoria Smurfit as Maud O’Hara, Claire Rushbrook as Lady Monica Baddingham, Oliver Chris as James Vereker, Lisa McGrillis as Valerie Jones, Emily Atack as Sarah Stratton, Rufus Jones as Paul Stratton, Luca Pasqualino as Basil ‘Bas’ Baddingham, Catriona Chandler as Caitlin O'Hara, and Annabel Scholey.

The second series of "Rivals" promises to deliver power struggles, deepening rivalries, and a thrilling ride through a landscape of breathtaking beauty, fierce competition, and life-changing decisions.
