Giessen's Ringallee Outdoor Pool Bids Farewell for the Season
The popular Ringallee Outdoor Pool in Giessen, Germany, will be closing its doors for the 2025 season on September 14. Despite the gloomy and cool weather during the summer holidays, the pool managed to attract approximately 91,000 guests, with around 4,500 attending the "Play Your Game" City Day on June 29.

The "Play Your Game" City Day featured various sports, including lesser-known ones like floorball, with seven sports clubs from Giessen and the region participating. The event was a success, with a diverse range of sports on display for all ages to enjoy.
During the off-season, the former mini-golf course at the Ringallee Outdoor Pool will be transformed into an outdoor fitness area, with four machines installed. The Ringallee Indoor Pool and the West Pool will be available for pool guests who wish to continue their swimming activities during the colder months.
Maintenance and repairs will be carried out on Giessen's pools during the break between the autumn closure and the opening in the coming spring.
