"Germany's Next Topmodel": A Rollercoaster Ride from Virgins to Sperm Donors

Individual Journeys from Female Body to Sperm Donor Source - Encounters of a Virgin to a Sperm Donor's Journey Unveiled

It's all heating up as we approach the final stretch: The next fortnight will reveal the victors of this year's "Germany's Next Topmodel" (Thursdays, 8:15 PM, ProSieben or on joyn). Heidi Klum's (52) proteges are pushing their limits to secure a spot in the semifinals. In sleazy tabloid interviews, three models confess their virginity, being victims of violence, or serving as sperm donors. During the X-rated street bed photoshoot, long-time enemies square off. And on the treacherous runway, more slips are inevitable.

Fire and Brimstone Backstage

"There's no sweeter taste than being in the limelight," muses "taff" host Christian Düren (34), shaping this year's media training for the models. He challenges Aaliyah (22), in his view a "gossip girl," for speaking ill of fellow contenders Moritz (19) and archenemy Kevin (24). In retaliation, some models brand Kevin a "poser" and a "troublemaker." After their latest tiff, Aaliyah and Kevin brace themselves for the upcoming intimate photoshoot.

Confessions on Virginity, Sperm Donation, Violence, and Bullying

The models bare all to Tanja May (52) of the "Bild" newspaper and Stephanie Göttmann-Fuchs of the "Bunte" magazine. Expert Christian Düren advises: "Spill the beans, but don't give your secrets away." Some models impress, others fall short. Canel (26) opens up about her father's "psychological woes" and family turmoil. Pierre (22) shares his "dread" not knowing his "father." Magdalena (21) discusses "awkward school phases," being a "bullying victim," and experiencing "eating disorder symptoms."

Eliob (29) addresses a "Bunte" query regarding a social media post: "I lend my sperm, but parenting isn't for me." Daniela (20) admits her virgin status, like Moritz. Christian Düren ponders:" Daniela can say whatever she likes, the headlines are already set." His takeaway: "Not very smart for the models, but a gift for the colleagues."

Love at First Stumble

The upcoming shoot promises tension: The models hit the streets of Los Angeles posing as smitten couples. Most pairings fall into place until only Aaliyah and Kevin remain on the line. Zoe (19), Aaliyah's confidante, claims it's "suicide": "They were arch-rivals yesterday, will they flirt today?" Moritz struggles to make the photoshoot work, while Canel and Eliob rehearse passionately. Who will triumph and progress to the semi-finals?

During the shoot, Elio and Canel shared a professionally passionate kiss, but their photos were not usable. Daniela and Moritz, initially reserved, loosened up and unveiled their romantic sides. Jannik (22) and Magdalena had agreed to keep their lips sealed. They received little praise from the judges, who did appreciate the romantic ambiance in their photos. The reluctant lovers Kevin and Aaliyah were unable to rekindle their relationship on camera.

"A million bucks"

Before reaching the semi-finals, the models face a catwalk challenge in the pouring rain. The models don designs by New York designer Christian Cowan (29). Zoe, who calls herself "Christian Cowan Ultra," opens the show. Luckily, she impresses both the designer and the audience, despite the showers. Daniela, Canel, and Magdalena, among the women, and Elio, Jannik, and Moritz, among the men, all proceed to the semi-finals. Designer Cowan even praises Moritz: "You shine like a million dollars. You could land any fashion show."

Off the Runway and Out the Door

Magdalena learns she'll soon be splashed across a "Bild" headline reading "Disturbance due to mean bullying." She views her interview as a milestone. Elio feels flattered to be featured under the headline "I gave sperm to help others." However, Aaliyah and Kevin's "GNTM" adventure comes to an end. "Your attitude was bizarre, and it was disappointing," Rankin criticizes. Predictably, Heidi has no glowing review for either contestant. It's a bitter blow for Kevin, who had been tipped as a front-runner. Aaliyah departs with her head held high: "I never thought I'd make it into the top five girls."
