Enchanting Tales Continue - Fifth Installment
In Paul McCann's enchanting novel "Fairytale Collection," we follow the journey of Huggie, a fairy who resides in a hollow log by the door of a forest.
One day, Huggie was zapped and flew up into the sky, embarking on a unique mission. Mother Nature, who was currently unhappy and defensive, asked Huggie for a favour to increase fun and remove poison gases from the forest.
As Huggie took flight and landed on a cloud to meet Dribbles, the sky fairy, Dribbles was initially skeptical of Huggie's visit. However, Huggie explained her mission from Mother Nature, and Dribbles agreed to help.
Together, Huggie and Dribbles rowed a small wooden boat across a pond and were whisked up to a mountain top. Here, Huggie was given a mission to collect red rocks for plugging up holes near the forest door.
However, things took an unexpected turn when Wendy the wicked witch appeared and tried to cast a spell over Huggie. Mother Nature intervened, and Huggie's Fairy E Disk card was returned. The witch was turned into a pool of nausea and was mopped up by the Green pathway agents.
As Huggie continued her mission, she encountered various obstacles. She was propelled into another planet where she encountered sulphur pods that emitted hot rocks and harmful gases. Despite this, Huggie persisted, asking Dribbles for help to put the red rocks into her pockets and return to the mother ship.
With Dribbles' assistance, Huggie was able to plug the holes in the ground with red rocks, causing blooms to appear. The chapter ended with a link to Chapter 6, leaving readers eager to uncover more about Huggie's adventures.
Throughout her journey, Huggie was also accompanied by a jocular bird that sang a song and ten thousand blue butterflies with light sabres appeared. Mother Nature danced upon the ground and opened up glowing fissures. Pixies started to dance with delirium and white doves descended into a crystal pond. Mother Nature even appeared and praised Huggie and Dribbles for restoring balance between the dimensions.
As Huggie returned with a slight disfigurement of speech, it was clear that her mission was not without its challenges. However, Mother Nature blew a kiss at Huggie and thanked her again for everything she had done. The novel concludes with Huggie resuming her role as the guardian of the forest, maintaining the green pathways and sprinkling light among wild flowers.
Huggie's new lifestyle included traveling to various dimensions in her quest for entertainment, and she discovered that books filled with tales of adventure were a great source of inspiration for her unique missions. As she navigated through her journeys, she realized that her lifestyle was no longer confined to the forest but rather extended to the whole spectrum of the universe, which she explored like a colorful fairytale.
