Who's Fabian Hambüchen?
Born on October 25, 1987, in Bergisch Gladbach, Fabian Hambüchen now resides in Gießen. Married to fitness trainer Viktoria Hambüchen-Diesterbeck, he rose to fame through his impressive career as an artistic gymnast.
His Biggest Triumph
Starting gymnastics at the tender age of four under the watchful eye of his father Wolfgang Hambüchen, a former gymnast himself, Fabian quickly made a name for himself. Competing in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens at just 16, he went on to participate in three more Olympiads. His career peak came in 2016 when he won the gold medal on the horizontal bar at the Rio de Janeiro Games. With 23 international medals and an impressive 40 German championship titles, Fabian has secured his position as Germany's most accomplished gymnast and been named Germany's sportsman of the year twice.

Post-retirement, Fabian has made appearances on numerous TV shows. Tackling challenges such as the celebrity "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", diving from a 10-meter platform, and stepping into the ring for "TV Total - Celebrity Wrestling", the dance floor presents a fresh challenge for Hambüchen. "I'm thrilled to be part of 'Let's Dance' because it pushes me out of my comfort zone. This will be an exhilarating experience, and I hold the utmost respect for everyone's performances.
