Elton Hosts New Game Show - Elton hosts Hitster, a high-energy music game show premiering on RTL

A popular card game is making its way to television as Hitster – The Game Show of the Biggest Hits debuts on RTL. The prime-time programme, hosted by Elton, will see celebrity teams compete by arranging famous songs in chronological order. The first episode airs on April 12 at 7:05 PM, with early streaming on RTL+ from April 5.

The show adapts the Hitster card game into a fast-paced TV format. Celebrity pairs, including Angelo and Gabriel Kelly, Ingolf Lück, and Evelyn Burdecki, will race to place hit songs correctly on a giant timeline. Each correct placement earns points, while mistakes lock teams out of further moves.

Viewers can also look forward to live musical surprises. Artists like Nik Kershaw and Maggie Reilly will perform during episodes, adding to the entertainment. The winning team each week will secure €10,000 for a charity of their choice. Before the TV premiere, all episodes will stream on RTL+ from April 5. This gives audiences a chance to watch early or catch up before the broadcast.

The show combines music trivia, celebrity competition, and live performances in a fresh TV format. With Elton as host and a mix of well-known contestants, it aims to entertain while supporting good causes. Episodes will be available weekly on RTL+ before their scheduled TV slots.
