Elly-Heuss-Schule’s Girls’ Volleyball Team Claims National Championship Title

Elly-Heuss-Schule’s girls’ volleyball team has won the German school championship. The squad triumphed in Bad Blankenburg, defeating Dachau 2–0 in the final. Both the team and their coach were also recognised for their sportsmanship during the tournament. The competition began on Monday, November 17, when the boys’ and girls’ teams from Elly-Heuss-Schule traveled to Bad Blankenburg for the WK IV national finals. The girls’ team started strongly, winning all three of their preliminary matches. Their performance secured them a place in the quarterfinals, where they beat Hamburg 2–0. The championship title marks a major achievement for the team and their coaches. Their success was made possible by strong performances, teamwork, and the support of organizers in Bad Blankenburg. Coach Corts and Coach Grajewski were praised for their guidance throughout the tournament.
