Headline: Notable Horse Sales at Recent Auction

In a series of significant purchases at the recent National Hunt Sale, several well-known figures in the equine world have acquired young horses with promising pedigrees.

One of the most talked-about purchases was the two-year-old Kapgarde filly, which found a new home with the Bleahen brothers. The filly, named Kapgarde, was sourced from the Sagara reduction for €35,000. Kapgarde's mother, Listed winner Ivresse Du Berlais, adds an extra layer of potential to this young horse.

Another notable purchase was Fee Viviane, a six-year-old mare from one of France's outstanding families. Bertrand Le Metayer for Hamel Stud was the buyer, parting with €120,000 for the young Doctor Dino mare. Fee Viviane, a runner-up in the Listed Prix Finot, is a sibling to Nickname and No Risk At All, adding prestige to her lineage.

Meanwhile, Noel George, Amanda Zetterholm, and Bernard White spent €33,000 on a Masked Marvel yearling, while Richard Venn and Paola Beacco purchased Mlle Boniface, a two-year-old Triple Threat filly, for €45,000.

Mlle Boniface, consigned to the sale by Haras des Rouges Terres, is a full-sister to Mister Policeman, a dual Grade 3 winner for Willie Mullins. Masked Marvel, another horse from the Sagara draft, was bought by Brown Island Stables for €36,000. Masked Marvel's mother, the black-type Saint Des Saints mare Dianakova, adds an extra element of quality to this young horse.

The dam of Champion Hurdle winner Golden Ace will be offered at Goffs in December, promising an exciting auction for racehorse enthusiasts.

In other news, a dispersal sale for David Maxwell is confirmed for next month, attracting interest from overseas visitors such as Yorton Farm, Jerry McGrath, and George Mullins, who were among those purchasing five-figure lots from the jumping stock.

The exact details about who trained or raced Fee Viviane immediately before the sale are not mentioned in the available search results. However, it is known that the mare was previously used by the consignor Nursery Place before the sale.

These purchases highlight the ongoing interest in the equine industry, with buyers eager to secure young horses with promising pedigrees and potential for success on the racetrack.
