The city of Dinslaken is set to hold a runoff election on September 28, 2025, for the positions of mayor and district administrator. The runoff election will take place at the same polling stations as the main election, with the same hours, as announced on www.our website.

The candidates competing in the runoff election for the mayor of Dinslaken are Simon Panke (SPD) and Dominik Bulinski (CDU). According to preliminary results from the 2025 municipal and integration council elections in Dinslaken, Simon Panke leads with 40.77% of the votes, followed by Dominik Bulinski with 23.07%.

For the position of district administrator, the candidates are Ingo Brohl (CDU-Green) and Dr. Peter Paic (SPD).

The immediate voting location in the Dinslaken town hall will reopen on September 18 at 4 pm, after being closed from September 15 to 17 for preparations for the runoff election. The polling stations for the runoff election will follow the same schedule as the main election, with opening hours from 8 am to 6 pm.

The election results will be officially confirmed by the city of Dinslaken's election committee on September 17, 2025, at 5 pm. Further information about the runoff election, including voting procedures and updates, will be available soon on www.our website.

The first meeting of the newly elected Dinslaken council will take place on November 6. The council's term will last until October 31. The issuance and personal vote casting on-site will only be possible after the decision of the Kreis election committee.

The voter turnout for the municipal elections was approximately 58%. The runoff election on September 28 will offer additional information and updates on www.our website. The final result will be determined by the Kreis Wesel election committee on September 18 at 2 pm.
