When FromSoftware dialed back the final boss of Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Promised Consort Radahn, things took an unexpected turn. Enter themodder thebluehood35 on Nexus Mods, who felt the boss needed a serious upgrade, to the point of insanity. So much so that even the renowned Elden Ring village hero, Let Me Solo Her, spent over 50 grueling hours mastering the art of defeating the monster-like "superboss,"Incarnate Consort.
You might recognize Let Me Solo Her, the guy who's made a name for himself by conquering FromSoftware's toughest bosses, such as the Nightreign's final boss or even the souped-up Unalloyed Malenia, created by another sadistic modder.
After hundreds of failures and 54 grueling hours, Let Me Solo Her claimed victory over the Incarnate Consort, a grotesque version of the original Radahn, lovedingly dubbed "lore accurate" Radahn in the title of the video. He suggests that this boss might even be tougher than Unalloyed Malenia, in terms of the time it took him to master.
In a recent video showcasing the nail-biting seven-minute battle, Let Me Solo Her demonstrates just how overtuned and relentless the Incarnate Consort really is. Originally uploaded in September 2024 and last updated "for good," barring minor hotfixes, the mod tweaks the DLC Radahn fight in several ways.
According to thebluehood35's post on Nexus Mods, the Incarnate Consort now boasts more health and poise, adjustments and new attacks, bonus attack effects like Bloodflame, tweaked AI behavior for faster, more relentless attacks, and quicker recoveries if parried. Miquella will also heal the monstrous Radahn mid-battle and make him immune or resistant to statuses, like poison and bleed, for the remainder of the fight.
Additional changes include flashier, more lethal attacks, an advanced phase 2 starting at 55% HP instead of 65%, and Miquella healing Radahn before the fight continues in phase 2. thebluehood35's parting words of wisdom? "Try utilizing some other evasive strategies like jumping, cause you'll need it at points of the fight. Trust me."
Despite the obstacles, Let Me Solo Her, wielding an Antspur Rapier for maximum bleed damage as ever, makes the fight look relatively easy, though don't be fooled by the small health bar and his relentless stamina bar - he went all-in on the glass cannon approach in this battle. The sheer volume of projectiles and particles the Incarnate Consort hurls at you is impressive, to say the least, with lengthy, screen-clearing combos that are a dazzling assault on the senses.
