The 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship will run from December 26 to January 5. Several standout players, including Cole Eiserman and Kamil Bednárik, are set to compete for their respective nations. Both will make their tournament debuts after strong performances this season.

He currently leads Boston University with eight goals and 12 points (8G, 4A) this season. At the 2025 World Juniors, he tied for fourth in scoring with seven points (3G, 4A).

Bednárik, representing Czechia, has nine points (5G, 4A) for Boston University this season. He will play alongside David Jiříček, Šimon Nemec, and Matěj Blümel in his first World Juniors appearance. Tomáš Poletín has also featured in Czechia’s pre-tournament games. Other notable participants include Kashawn Aitcheson for Team Canada and Victor Eklund for Team Sweden. Meanwhile, Jacob Kvasnicka was a late cut from Team USA’s final roster.
