Eintracht Frankfurt's 1:5 Loss to Atlético: Toppmöller Demands Defensive Improvement

Eintracht Frankfurt suffered a heavy 1:5 defeat to Atlético Madrid in the Champions League. Coach Dino Toppmöller acknowledged the tough loss, accepting it as a learning experience for his teams.

The German side struggled against the Spanish giants, never truly getting into the game. The teams conceded five goals, exposing their defensive frailty. Toppmöller demanded an improvement in defense for their upcoming Bundesliga clash with Bayern Munich at home on Saturday.

Sports director Markus Krösche described Atlético as being in a different league, highlighting the challenge faced by Frankfurt. Winger Ansgar Knauff, however, expressed no fear ahead of the Bayern Munich match, suggesting the teams' determination to bounce back.
