TSV Jetzendorf Suffer Late Heartbreak in Thrilling Draw Against FC Ehekirchen

In a dramatic turn of events, TSV Jetzendorf found themselves on the losing end of a thrilling draw against FC Ehekirchen in the sixth matchday of the Landesliga Southwest.

The game, refereed by Loeffler from Medlingen, started off promisingly for TSV Jetzendorf. Stefan Stockl scored an early goal in the sixth minute, capitalising on a cross by Thomas Nefzger to give the home team a 1-0 lead.

TSV Jetzendorf continued to dominate the game, with captain Ben Geuenich converting a penalty in the 40th minute to make it 2-0. Florian Kobold also added to the scoreline with a goal from 14 meters in the centre, just before half-time.

However, the second half saw a different story unfold. TSV Jetzendorf, who had 90% of the ball possession in the second half, could not find the back of the net again, much to the disappointment of coach Markus Poellner.

FC Ehekirchen managed to capitalise on TSV Jetzendorf's missed opportunities, scoring two goals in the second half. Christoph Hollinger equalised for FC Ehekirchen in the second minute of added time in the first half, making it 2-2. Matthias Schaff scored the equaliser in the 90th minute, securing a draw for the visitors.

Despite the heartbreaking loss, TSV Jetzendorf can take pride in their strong performance throughout the game, with numerous high ball recoveries, shots, and corners. Their next match is scheduled for Wednesday against Cosmos Aystetten.
