The II International Boxing Tournament 'Eurasian Cup 'Dauria'' concluded in the city of Chita, Russia, with the Russian team securing an impressive victory. The tournament, which took place from September 8 to 13, featured over 200 athletes from 19 countries.
In a remarkable display of dominance, the Russian team won 10 out of 13 possible gold medals, ensuring their overall victory in the tournament. Among the finalists were two local boxing school graduates, Egor Korchagin and Renat Attokurov, who fought valiantly for the championship title.
In the final bouts, 26 top boxers competed, with 19 of them being from Russia. The local boxer, Renat Attokurov, put up a tough fight against the World Junior Champion Ruslan Shikhambetov, ultimately losing and earning the silver medal. Korchagin, a member of the Zabaykalsky Krai team, was awarded the title of Master of Sports of Russia.
