Show gets no new episodes - Edin Hasanović’s Late-Night Show Axed After Two Seasons on ZDFneo
The late-night talk show Edin’s Neo Night has been cancelled after two seasons on ZDFneo. Hosted by 33-year-old actor and presenter Edin Hasanović, the programme aired 14 episodes but will not return for further series. Neither Hasanović nor broadcaster ZDF has explained the decision publicly.
The show first launched in 2024 with six episodes, drawing an average of 80,000 viewers. Its second run added eight more instalments, though ratings dipped to around 60,000 per episode. Among 14- to 49-year-olds—the key audience for late-night formats—Edin’s Neo Night peaked at a 1.9 percent market share.
Over its two seasons, the programme welcomed high-profile guests, including Laura Wontorra, Steven Gätjen, Nilam Farooq, and rapper Eko Fresh. Despite this, ZDF opted to discontinue production, leaving the official reason for cancellation unconfirmed.
With no new episodes planned, Hasanović’s late-night venture comes to an end. The format’s two-season run delivered mixed viewing figures but featured notable names in German entertainment. ZDF has not indicated whether a replacement show is in development.
