Economic gathering in Nettetal Vivaldi crosses paths with Piazzolla, blending their unique cultural influences together.

On the 13th of July, music lovers are invited to Krickenbeck Castle for an unforgettable concert experience. The event, titled "Vivaldi Meets Piazzolla - The Eight Seasons," is presented by the Hamburg Stage Ensemble and promises to be a unique blend of classical and tango music.

The concert will feature two parts. The first part, "The Four Seasons," is a baroque masterpiece by Antonio Vivaldi, a composition that has moved audiences for nearly 300 years. Vivaldi's seasons will be depicted through his musical imagery, capturing weather, light, and natural events in sound.

In the second part, Astor Piazzolla's "Four Seasons of Buenos Aires" will take centre stage. This arrangement, by Leonid Desyatnikov, promises to reflect the rhythmically elegant, melancholic, and urban energy of life in Buenos Aires. Two emotionally charged compositions by Piazzolla, "Milonga del Ángel" and "Adiós Nonino," will add a bittersweet depth to the performance.

The ensemble for this concert is the Leonardo Trio, a group renowned for their innovative approach to combining classical and tango styles. Violinist Arsen Zorayan leads the ensemble, both artistically and as a soloist. The chamber ensemble does not use a conductor, allowing for immediate on-stage interaction.

The Hamburg Stage Ensemble is a group of young, internationally trained musicians, ensuring a dynamic and energetic performance. The concert will take place at Krickenbeck Castle at 11 AM, with admission opening at 10 AM, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy a drink in the castle courtyard before the concert.

In case of rain, partial coverage will be provided during the concert. If severe weather is forecast, the event will be moved to the Church of St. Peter in Hinsbeck. Parking is available exclusively at the "Biologische Station Nettetal" parking lot, with a free shuttle bus service to the castle entrance from around 9:45 AM. The return transport to the parking lot will start around 1 PM.

Tickets for the concert cost 30 Euros and can be obtained via the KdW-website, by email, or by phone. Don't miss out on this captivating musical experience!
