EasyJet launches three exclusive seasonal routes between France and the UK
EasyJet has announced three new seasonal routes between France and the UK, expanding its connections to 50. Reginald Otten, the airline's deputy managing director in France, sees this as a boost for tourism and trade. The new routes include Paris Charles de Gaulle to London Stansted, Montpellier to Manchester, and Nice to Birmingham. Flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, starting in the spring/summer 2026 season. The Paris-London service will begin with a temporary schedule in March, flying Thursday to Sunday, before switching to the regular timetable in April. All three routes are seasonal, with operations ending in October. Notably, the Paris and Montpellier connections are exclusive to EasyJet, as no other airline offers these links. Tickets went on sale via the airline's website, with one-way fares ranging from €50 to €100. Some early bookings on November 25 showed prices as low as €40. Reginald Otten, appointed in 2025, expressed satisfaction with the expansion, stating that the new routes would strengthen ties between the two countries. The additional services will provide more travel options between key French and British cities. Passengers can book flights now, with the first departures set for early 2026. The expansion reflects EasyJet's ongoing commitment to connecting France and the UK.
