Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan, add about an inch of water and bring to a boil. Place a heat-resistant bowl over the saucepan, avoiding direct contact with the water. Add the chocolate pieces, stirring constantly until completely smooth, about 2 minutes. Remove the bowl from the heat but keep it over the warm water to keep the chocolate melted. Alternatively, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring between each interval, until smooth and glossy.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine thawed berries, cornstarch, and sugar. Mix until the berries are fully coated.
  4. Lay out the thawed puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet. Pour the melted chocolate in the center of the pastry, spreading it evenly while leaving a 3.5-cm border around the edges. Top with the berry mixture. Fold the pastry edges over the berries.
  5. In a small bowl, combine honey and warm water, stirring until well mixed. Brush the exposed pastry with the honey mixture.
  6. Bake the tart for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and cut into slices before serving. Bon appétit!

In this easy recipe, half-sweet chocolate is equal to 44 grams. The tart is baked at 200°C (400°F).
