Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, add about an inch of water and bring to a boil. Place a heat-resistant bowl over the saucepan, avoiding direct contact with the water. Add the chocolate pieces, stirring constantly until completely smooth, about 2 minutes. Remove the bowl from the heat but keep it over the warm water to keep the chocolate melted. Alternatively, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring between each interval, until smooth and glossy.
- In a medium bowl, combine thawed berries, cornstarch, and sugar. Mix until the berries are fully coated.
- Lay out the thawed puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet. Pour the melted chocolate in the center of the pastry, spreading it evenly while leaving a 3.5-cm border around the edges. Top with the berry mixture. Fold the pastry edges over the berries.
- In a small bowl, combine honey and warm water, stirring until well mixed. Brush the exposed pastry with the honey mixture.
- Bake the tart for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15-20 minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar and cut into slices before serving. Bon appétit!
