Eastwood slams Austrian messenger as a "totally fabricated character!"

Here's the Scoop on Clint Eastwood's Alleged Fabricated Interview

Chillax, dudes! Hollywood A-listers are pros at keeping it cool and keeping interviews on a leash. PR ninjas are on guard 24/7, screening questions like a boss. So, it's P-O- double-double-you-eye-obs to hear that Clint Eastwood—holy moly, he's 95 years young!—felt burned by a supposed sit-down with Austria's Kurier. The publication published an interview, and ol' Clint called BS, telling Deadline it was a total fabrication. Naturally, the Kurier ain't too keen on that accusation. Even though they've axed the accused author, they're sticking to their guns, claiming the quotes are legit.

Martin Gebhardt, the big cheese at Kurier, issued a statement that went like this: "Even if a single quote is phony, every word is documented, and this forgery claim can be put to rest: We've cut ties with this writer because transparency and our rigorous editorial standards are non-negotiable, baby!"

Remember Gerd Heidemann? He was the Stern reporter who made waves back in '12 when he chatted about the infamous Hitler diaries forgery business. Anyway, here's a wild twist: Elisabeth Sereda, who's an Austrian journalist living in the USA, and a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association that dishes out the fancy Golden Globes, claims to have finagled quotes from ol' Clint during 14 roundtables (yeah, those group interviews journalists love) and 1-on-1 sessions. But, here's the kicker: she never did a full-blown interview. Instead, she pieced it all together from those quotes.

So, it's no surprise that Clint couldn't recall a recent, lengthy Q&A with Kurier. If Sereda had wrote her piece as a portrait-style interview with quotes, maybe she wouldn't be facing this storm. C'mon, would you remember a boring sit-down with a newspaper? Probably not!

Despite the alleged fabricated interview with Clint Eastwood, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association member Elisabeth Sereda claims to have gathered quotations from him during multiple roundtable discussions and personal meetings. However, it's worth noting that the interview was not a full-fledged sit-down, and it doesn't follow the conventional format often associated with entertainment, celebrities, and pop-culture, such as playful banter or in-depth discussions on various topics that typically entertain audiences.
