Eagles Return with Bizarre Twists in "Peacemaker" Episode
In the latest instalment of "Peacemaker," the action-packed series is keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
Chris (John Cena) has shown his prowess yet again, this time taking down a giant kaiju reminiscent of those from Superman. Meanwhile, Rooker's character found himself in a Looney Tunes-like escapade during an episode.
The shortest episode of the season so far, titled "Back to the Suture," saw Chris entering a park as part of a sting operation, with ARGUS's team waiting in ambush. Adrian took the news of Chris leaving the team harder than anyone else, and Chris entrusted his alien helmet to the gang to gain favour with ARGUS.
The season has also seen Chris and Judomaster leaving notes like video game characters would leave codexes, and Chris throwing away Harcourt's hidden microphone before asking her if their secret boat outing meant anything to her. Harcourt, in turn, has been hatching a new plan to go after Chris.
Harcourt was also asked by Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo) if she knew who killed his son, but she couldn't share the classified information. Flag Sr. expressed his displeasure about his son's death being caused by the Suicide Squad mission. The funeral of Richard Bill Flag Jr. (Joel Kinnaman) was depicted in a flashback, with John Economos (Steve Agee) and Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) present.
The season has also brought some surprising twists. Bordeaux was revealed to be a cyborg lady, and even she couldn't resist the charm of Rick Flag Sr. from Creature Commandos. Fleury, despite his frat bro sensibilities and bird blindness, managed to stop police brutality.
In a shocking turn of events, Chris has decided to stay in the alternate universe and be with alt-Harcourt. The revelation that Flag Sr.'s son had feelings for Harcourt beyond friendship added another layer of complexity to the storyline.
As the season continues, Harcourt has promised to find the killer of Richard Bill Flag Jr., and Adrian Chase informed Adebayo and others about the meaning of "Greek" in red-light district circles. With each episode, the mystery deepens, and the stakes get higher.
Currently airing, Season Two of "Peacemaker" is not to be missed for fans of action, comedy, and suspense.
