In the upcoming races at Glorious Goodwood, two horses are generating a significant amount of interest – Sing Us A Song and Riffa Spirit.

The horse Sing Us A Song, trained by Ralph Beckett, is the 100-30 favourite in the opener on day two of Glorious Goodwood. This horse has shown impressive form recently, having won at Goodwood on August 2, 2025, finishing first as a strong favourite (1/3f) in a race starting at 14:20. However, its most recent outing at Goodwood did not result in a win, with Saqqara Sands taking the top spot instead [1]. Despite this setback, trainer Ralph Beckett remains optimistic about Sing Us A Song’s prospects [4].

Unfortunately, Sing Us A Song's most recent performance was not its best, as it finished seventh of nine. It seemed the horse lost its composure while being reloaded into the stalls and was backed out of its gate seconds earlier [3].

On the other hand, Riffa Spirit, a newcomer from the Crisford yard, is a 7-2 contender. Despite a lack of recent data on Riffa Spirit’s performances at Goodwood or Newcastle, the horse did finish seventh of ten in a Newcastle maiden a few days prior [5].

As the races at Glorious Goodwood approach, both Sing Us A Song and Riffa Spirit will be eager to prove their mettle. With Sing Us A Song's strong form and Riffa Spirit's potential, the stage is set for an exciting showdown.

Sing Us A Song and Riffa Spirit, two horses competing at Glorious Goodwood, are creating quite a stir in the racing world. In addition to Sing Us A Song's strong performance at a recent race at Goodwood, Riffa Spirit is a 7-2 contender in the upcoming races, despite lacking recent data from Goodwood or Newcastle.
